I don’t know the exact age of this one but it’s likely from the 1960s and my understanding is that it’s been owned by Bolton Valley ski area in Bolton Vermont since not long after they opened in the mid 60s.
It’s basically a mobile display piece. It doesn’t get used for anything to do with mountain operations anymore but it does still operate well enough that they can drive it wherever they need to get it to on the property.
When it was in operation it would’ve been used to tow a grooming rig to groom the ski slopes at the end of each day
