The Frazer-Nash Namir is a hybrid supercar concept car that debuted at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. It was a collaboration between the Italian design house Italdesign Giugiaro and the British engineering firm Frazer-Nash. Its name, “Namir,” is Arabic for “tiger”.

A series hybrid system featuring an 814cc rotary engine that acts as a generator to charge a 400V lithium-ion battery pack.

Four electric motors (two on each axle), delivering a combined output of roughly 362 horsepower (270 kW)

It claimed a top speed of over 187 mph (300 km/h) and a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 3.5 seconds.

Despite its performance, it was designed for extreme efficiency, with an estimated fuel economy of around 2.6L/100km.

It utilized a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, contributing to a relatively light weight of 1,450 kg for a hybrid vehicle.

Though it was hailed as one of the fastest hybrids of its time, the Namir never entered mass production. However, it gained some pop-culture recognition by appearing as the character Fabrizio in the Pixar movie Cars 2.
