Powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine (BYD371QA) producing approximately 67 — 68 and 90 Nm of torque.
The model was criticized for low safety ratings, receiving 0 stars in a 2016 Latin NCAP test.
While the petrol version was discontinued around 2015, BYD launched the BYD e1 an all-electric version based on the F0 chassis, under its “e series”.
The F0 was succeeded in spirit by the more modern BYD Seagull electric city car.
