It was originally designed for carrying race horses and because of that it had mechanical parts unfit for other tasks like having less responsive steering and it was not selling well in western europe so Peugeot decided to sell it in less fortunate countries and it was a hit, then it’s selling rights were given to Karsan, a turkish bus company, then it was facelifted to be Karsan J10. It was sold in The Balkans, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Algeria., Turkey, Azerbaijan and Algeria.
