Jaguar R-D6 was unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show was a compact concept hatchback, designed by Ian Callum,

It was powered by a 2.7-litre V6 bi-turbo diesel engine producing 230 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.


It featured an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) and used a rear-wheel-drive layout.


The car featured a pillarless construction with rear-hinged rear doors (similar to the Mazda RX-8) and a side-hinged tailgate reminiscent of the Jaguar E-Type.


Crafted with black leather and aluminium accents, the cabin featured ambient red floor lighting and an ignition button hidden under a fighter-jet-style swivelling top on the gearshift.
