Covini C6W: The Supercar That Resurrected the Six-Wheeled Formula Concept

The Covini C6W was born from a desire to push the boundaries of conventional supercars and transfer the theoretical advantages of six wheels from racing circuits to ordinary roads, which was only made possible by technological advancements around 2004. The absolutely dominant feature of this car is its two front steering axles, which, combined with a lightweight tubular spaceframe and a powerful V8, guarantee crushing dynamics and perfect stability. The fate of this unique collector’s item was a strictly limited production reaching at most a few dozen units in total, which, while ensuring an exclusivity surpassing even traditional Italian brands, meant it never saw mainstream success due to its engineering complexity.

I found the engineering and design of this obscure car so fascinating that I wrote a full deep-dive article about it.
