This is one of the first mid-engine Corvettes ever, built specifically for Pikes Peak HillClimb, using a 6.7L Sprint engine with over 800Hp at 9.000Rpm, a transaxle from a Lola Indycar, weighing around 700kg. It competed only in 1998, finishing 3rd, being retired right after and is now being displayed at the Museum of American Speed with its wild front Wing removed
